i sat down late last week and worked out the costs of flying, going by bus and going by train and it was cheaper for the 2 of us to drive. especially with the price of petrol now - i hope it stays that way for another week and a bit.
we booked our accommodation today and got a really good deal and the best part is we can walk to the venue and have a drink or two or three and not have to drive home.
I so cant wait........ it's going to be awesome fun. Just hope that blue baby arrives before then.
the other day i thought i would make up a mini album showing a photo a day of December 08. so being the 3rd day of December I've remembered to take a photo each day, so far so good lol. the photos i want to take are everyday photos of stuff that just happens during the day. I'm going to do it using a bracket mini album as a base and add different shaped pages and I've decided to use the Kaisercraft pink Christmas range, just for a little bit of fun.
the thumb is healing quite well................... I've been scrapping the rest of the Christmas pressies which is good. the cut does get in the way a lot though.
yesterday wasn't a good day for me. i haven't had a day like that in a few years. so not much got done. i did manage to make about 50 mini gingerbread men for Connor for his multi-cultural luncheon at school today though. that was a huge accomplishment for the state i was in. and they didn't turn out half bad either:)
Anthony has gone away today, down to the Snowy. Shanice asked to go with him cause it's so bloody hot here, lol. Anthony just rang too to say he is at the farm before heading to the snowy tomorrow for his meeting and it is freezing - go figure!
