Finally ONLINE

........ well it's about time!
I finally got my Scrap Girls website up and running. Not me, but Scott did, my fantastic IT guy.
It took a little while to get it all published and stuff, Scott did explain it to me but I'm so not computer literate, lol.
It's tacky, I know, but I'm online!
There is still a bit of tweaking to do, like getting the Scrap Girls info all up on there, lol, but the rest is there to see.
Well, it's off to tweak some more, after I fold washing, prepare afternoon tea for the terrors, make dinner, clean the kitchen etc, etc,etc

So bad at MATHS!

I just recounted all the layout's I've done this year and I was WRONG. I've actually done 13. That's so much better, lol. Phew only 37 more to go.
That will make it easier to complete those unfinished projects I wanted to do, lol

10 down 40 to go !!!!!

Oh YAY! for me, lol. I set myself a goal of 50 layouts this year and I've done 10
So that's only another 40 to go, lol. Pretty good saying it's only 2 months into the year.
I'd also like to add to that list that I WANT to finish about 3 unfinished projects.

On another note, I had my IT guy over this morning to fix up my whole website thing. And it looks like I should be up and running by tomorrow morning, I am so chuffed.
Next thing to do it drum up some more business. Maybe I should buy some advertising that might help, lol.
Well, it's off to pick up those 2 gorgeous kids from school. Then come home cook some cupcakes, wash up, clean their rooms, put washing away, cook a roast for dinner (and it's not even Sunday), bath children, do homework with them etc etc etc. Phew I'm exhausted already.

Bored last night!

........yep, I got bored last night so i decided to surf for a challenge on J4K. Thought I do the sketch one. Well my lo turned nothing like the original which is just typical of me, lol. I'm not 100% happy with it, but inspiration might strike again soon to add a bit more.
OK, for some bumb reason I've now tried to upload the photo 4 times and it's not working. OMG! I hate being computer illiterate!

I had a meeting with Kylie this morning to discuss a few things about her sponsoring us for the May retreat which is fantastic. Which reminds me Jeremy "should" be coming over tonight to help me upload my website - YAY! But he did say he'd come over last monday night so I'm not holding my breath, lol.
Well it's off to do homework and cook these yummy thick steaks for tea which I picked up. Yum can't wait for dinner, but then I remember I'm the worlds worst cook!

Ummmm Arrrrr!! Such a NASTY mum

It's official. The kids have now informed me that I'm a nasty, nasty mum.
This weekend I've banned the television till 4 in the afternoon and have told them they must play outside.
They can't believe how cruel I am, lol. Well they need to learn to play outside with or without the dog jumping and licking them.
So I think it's time to bring them in and feed them.
God love 'em.

Scraping Frenzy

Now that the broadband is working I can now upload the layout's I've done this week. I've been a busy beaver, saying that I'd be lucky to get 1 lo done every 3 weeks.

I tried my hand a bit of doodling.
That was fun, I'll be doing that again - soon!

I started my A-Z album - Finally. It's only taken how many months? And to add to that I only did my intro page, not even a letter yet, lol. Well at least it's a start.

And today I got 3 pages done (1 single and 1 double). I went back to wednesday class at penrith. I feel like I accomplished something. They are using the new yummy WE R papers and embellishments. I think I'll be using some more of these.
I'm not keen on the bright colours of this range but the other ones were just gorgeous.

Well its back to planning for the next layout, lol.
Now I did set myself a goal of 50 layouts for this year, so I think I'm on my way.

Those Photos ......... FINALLY!

Oh YAY! My broadband is back up and running. That will teach for exceeding my monthly limit and get stuck with slower than dial up speed for 6 days. I have upgraded my plan - again, so it shouldn't happen again, lol.

I can now finally share photos from Connors first day at big school.

Connor is loving big school. He gets all excited each morning which is just great. We did have our first drama today though. It start with him not wanting to go because it was sport day, and then when I picked him up his teacher, Mrs McLeod said there had been an issue. He actually got sent up to Mrs Hargraves because he was naughty. I know what he did, those stubborn trantrums that he persists in having. Little Monkey, I'm sure he wont be doing that again any time soon.

website #@%!*%

That's it, I've got the "bleeps" with this whole website thingy. I managed to organize the hosting and domain name last night and pay for it all, but do you think I can understand any of the waffle that they sent me about uploading and stuff. NO. It makes not sense. I asked Ant to have a look at it for me and he got cranky, so it's not just me.
I've done a whole website using a online template and we cant work out how to upload. It looks like I'm back to doing the tutorials on Frontpage and go from there.
All I wanted was to have the website online for this weekend. I dont think that's going to happen now. Anyone got any suggestions? Anyone know anything about building a website etc? I think I'm out of my depth.

Up grows my little man

Well, I've survived. The dreaded day my little baby boy has come and gone and I'm ok now, lol.
Connor was so excited about starting "big school" today that he was up at 6.45am and dressed ready to go by 7.45am. And we didn't have to get to school until 9.30. Bless his socks.
He posed for numerous photos outside the house before Anthony drove Shanice to school for normal time. Then it was every 2 seconds, "Are we going yet Mum?".
.... finally it was time to leave, and thank god mum was with me or I would have been a blubbering mess walking back to the car. He walked to the classroom, KM, the same room and teacher Shanice had for kindy, gave me a little hug said goodbye and that was it. Hello where does that leave the mum, my ambilical cords are not ready to be cut yet!!!!!
I felt a little lost and empty. A whole new era was about to unfold and was not prepared to let let it happen. I have been at home with the kids for 7 years now and I've forgotten what to do with myself, sure I'm going to have a good time, but I figure out what to do, how does one start to think about themselves only for 6 hours a day?
But this is Connor's big, exciting day, not mine.
I arrived to pick him up at 2.30 so we could go into the class room and see what he'd done for the day. He coloured for about 10 minutes and then when Mrs Mcleod started talking he told me he'd had enough and wanted to go home, lol. Little did he know that we now had to wait for the bell to go and Shanice to come out of her class room.
It was sticking hot this arvo and because i hadn't been home to put the air on it was toasty roasty in the house. I asked the kids to get changed which is normal, Shancie had no problems doing that, but Connor liked his uniform that much he wanted to keep it on, lol.
Well that hard work has been done now, so bring on tomorrow I say.

.......will post photos next week on the 6th. I've exceded this months broadband allowance, which is just typical, and the photos are taking forever to upload.
Oh yay and I've increased my broadband so now Anthony has even more reason to bitch at me for being on the puter longer, LOL!
